SMS and Text Communications
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive a text message from eRideUp. Message and Data rates may apply, Message frequency varies. To stop receiving messages, reply 'STOP' at any time. For more information, reply 'HELP'.
Covered Vehicle Breakdown Events (eRideUp)
- Engine failure (vehicle shuts off, knocks, overheats, or cannot run safely)
- Transmission failure (vehicle will not move, slips, or loses power)
- Dead battery or electrical failure (vehicle will not start)
- Alternator or starter failure
- Cooling system failure (overheating, radiator issues)
- Fuel system failure (fuel pump issues preventing operation)
- Brake system failure that makes the vehicle unsafe to drive
- Steering or suspension failure affecting safe control of the vehicle
- Locked or seized engine
- Check engine condition resulting in immediate loss of drivability
Accident & Damage-Related Events
- Motor vehicle accidents where the vehicle is not safely operable
- Collision damage requiring the vehicle to be towed or left for repair
- Hit-and-run incidents resulting in vehicle disablement
- Minor or major accidents where continued driving is unsafe
Non-Start / Immobilization Events
- Vehicle will not start for any mechanical or electrical reason
- Vehicle stalls and cannot restart
- Vehicle stuck in gear or unable to shift
- Ignition failure or key/ignition system malfunction
Service & Repair Situations
- Vehicle requires towing to a repair facility
- Vehicle must remain at a dealership or repair shop for diagnosis
- Warranty or recall repairs requiring the vehicle to be left overnight
- Major repairs requiring extended service time
Stranded / Safety Situations
- Customer stranded roadside in an unsafe or unfamiliar location
- Breakdown occurring late at night requiring safe transportation
- Situation where remaining with the vehicle presents a safety concern
Transportation Coverage Includes
- Ride from breakdown location to home
- Ride from breakdown location to dealership or repair facility
- Ride from dealership or repair facility to home or destination
- Ride following a tow event when transportation is still needed
Program Limits (Example – adjust if needed)
- Up to $50 per ride
- Up to 3 rides per 6-month period
- Subject to program terms, availability, and eligibility
Flat Tire Assistance Policy
Flat tires are typically not covered under eRideUp services. However, we’ll ask a few quick questions to determine eligibility:
- Do you have a spare tire?
- Are you able to install the spare tire?
- Can a tow truck driver assist with installing the spare?
- If the answer to all of the above is no, your ride may be approved after the vehicle has been towed.
